- 2007 ‘Skeetfield’ Chardonnay
Generations of the Gunn family honed their clay target shooting skills on the old skeet field that’s now part of the Ohiti Valley vineyard. This remarkable wine keeps the legend alive. Hand harvested and whole bunch pressed, the immediate impact of this wine is a creamy richness. Intense fruit is complemented by complex mealy and nutty flavours. The finish is long and clean, with a citrus twist.

2007 ‘Silistria' Syrah
This syrah honours the SS Silistria which, in 1862, brought a young William Gunn to New Zealand. It is a wine with great strength of varietal character, finesse and, above all, a rich velvety texture. Rich, dark fruit flavours of prunes and ripe red berries are followed by a complex aftertaste of cedar, liquorice and fine tannins.
